Hit Rate Trends
The Hit Rate Trends tool lets you track the engine’s accuracy over time with interactive charts, filterable by date range, stat type, and rating tier. It wraps the same Track Record component available from the sidebar, giving you a dedicated space to analyze engine performance trends.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Navigate to “Herramientas” (Tools) in the sidebar and select “Tendencias de Hit Rate” (Hit Rate Trends). The route is /tools/hit-rate-trends.
This page uses the same underlying component as the “Historial” (Track Record) sidebar entry. Whether you access it from Tools or from the sidebar, you get the same data and filters. The page is available to all users.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”A filter bar at the top of the page lets you narrow the data:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Date range | Start and end date pickers. Defaults to the last 30 days. |
| Stat | Filter by stat type — Points, Rebounds, Assists, Threes, PRA, or All. |
| Rating tier | Filter by pick rating — PREMIUM, STANDARD, or All. |
Changing any filter immediately updates the chart and summary stats below.
Understanding the Chart
Section titled “Understanding the Chart”The main visualization is a Chart.js line chart showing daily hit rates over the selected period. The X-axis represents dates and the Y-axis shows hit rate percentage (0-100%).
Key elements on the chart:
- Daily hit rate line — Each data point represents the percentage of picks that hit on that day
- Rolling average — A smoothed trend line showing the moving average over a rolling window, making it easier to spot sustained upswings or downswings
- Reference line — A horizontal line at 55% marks the break-even threshold for standard -110 odds
Below the chart, a summary stats section displays aggregate numbers for the selected filters:
- Total picks evaluated
- Overall hit rate percentage
- Best day and worst day
- Breakdown by stat type if “All” is selected
Language Toggle
Section titled “Language Toggle”A language toggle on the page lets you switch between Spanish and English labels. This affects chart labels and stat names but not the underlying data.
CSV Export
Section titled “CSV Export”This page shows the same data as the Track Record sidebar entry. If you are looking for a quick glance at overall performance, either entry point works — they share the same component and data source.
